Bro. Kell and Sis. Danielle Lark

Kellog Lark Jr. was born and raised in Blytheville, Arkansas and T. Danielle Lark was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The two were united by their enlistment into the United States Air Force. Both were stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi as police officers. Kellog and Danielle met each other for the first time when he returned to Biloxi from Ali Al Salem, Kuwait after performing his duties as a police officer while Danielle had just transferred from San Antonio, Texas after graduating from the Police Academy. They met each other at an outside barbeque on the military base for Kellog and the Troops who had just gotten back from deployment. Kellog and Danielle would become a couple two months later. Kellog was released from the Military in October of 2004 and Danielle shortly thereafter in March of 2005. The couple resided in Gulfport, Mississippi until July 25th of 2005.

Unaware of the oncoming hurricane(Katrina), Bro. Kellog and Sister Danielle headed for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania just a month and four days before Katrina struck and destroyed the gulfcoast. After arriving in Philadelphia, they had an extremely hard time finding shelter and ended up staying in Delaware, about an hour or so from what was originally planned.

While in Delaware, Sister Danielle’s medical condition worsened to where she laid almost at the point of death and was hospitalized. They were told by the doctors that she should have been gone due to the condition that her body was in, but the two knew that it was Jesus Christ that kept our sister going. After Sister Danielle’s recovery, the two continued living in Delaware, in a motel room, unable to find a place to settle, running out of time and money. So one night, after talking things over and having previously spoken to Sister Ina, about coming to Oklahoma City, they decided to give it a go.

When Bro. Kellog and Sister Danielle arrived in Oklahoma City, they had no idea what was about to take place or why they were moved all the way to Oklahoma City. They were about to be introduced to the message “JESUS CHRIST” and would soon learn of the hurricane that destroyed the gulfcoast four days after they had left. That Sunday, while staying with Brother and Sister Mahoney, they came to Word Of The Day Tabernacle where Bro. Paul O’Malley preached “Earnestly Contending for the Faith”. Having never heard a message preached like that, the couple sat down and talked with Bro. Paul about the message after the service. Bro. Kellog and Sister Danielle heard the voice of God and have continued to grow in JESUS CHRIST.

Sister Ina Mahoney

Well, it falls my lot to tell my path to the message.

It starts with meeting a very special brother, who by the way, is now my husband (Bro. Adelso Mahoney). I ran into him at an IHOP. He then led me to the Word of the Day Tabernacle. I met the Pastor, Bro. Paul O'Malley, there. When I met Bro. Paul, he and Sister Velma took me into a room and prayed for me because I was having a serious problem. When I heard the Word, that God used Bro. Paul to preach, my soul was quickened.

Nothing can convince me of any other way, This is the only way

It is the sweetest thing I know (The Word).

Sister Jessica Evangelista

It was Sunday morning. Jessica settled herself dutifully into her seat alongside her mother. She had come to the little church as always, because her mother did, because she was obedient and respectful and because this was what they did on Sunday morning. She would sit quietly and listen but she knew her mind would drift often, probably toward one of her many school activities...maybe toward her dream of being a violinist in a major orchestra.

There was a new preacher. Her uncle had started the group but he had moved away to California and this new guy had appeared. He came from Arkansas and he was funny. He preached a long time, but he would wave his arms and shout, "Praise the Lord!" and that was cute and kind of silly. Jessica smiled as she thought of it. And then the service started.

The preacher was talking about different Bible characters and painting some really neat pictures with his words. The Bible seemed so real when he did that. And there was such an atmosphere here this morning. Jessica wondered if it was just her, or was this 'feeling' real. She vaguely recalled feeling it before, sometimes. And then, something happened.

The preacher was preaching and, My! Somehow those words bored into her, her heart warmed and she wanted Jesus so much. Those words...........Oh! This was wonderful! "Oh, I believe, I believe!" Jessica thought. Faith overwhelmed her and something deep down on the inside of her screamed, "Amen!" Then, the preacher jerked around and looked right at her. He knew. Somehow, as Jessica's whole life was changed by the Word of God, that preacher knew. Wonderful! Oh, she would never be the same again. Jessica wanted to wave her arms and shout, "Praise the Lord!"

Brother James Dillon and Bro. Dale Kliner

Most people would have given up on James, many had. Even the pastor, patient as he could be, had expressed doubts. James needed Christ. Not just a confession. No, that wouldn't be enough to give him faith. Bro. James, though received in love by the Church, was still fighting battles in himself. And, his own doubts and inner struggles spilled over and made him seem hopeless to so many. He was beginning to think so, himself.

But, there was one man that still believed in him. Bro. Dale knew that his love for his brother was stronger than even the devil. Scripture said, "Love covereth a multitude of sin" and Dale knew what it was to be made to look hopeless. He thought of where God had brought him from, how He had raised him up...No! James was not too far gone, yet. Not to Dales idea of it. So, Dale was his friend, his encouragement, his example. He prayed for his brother. Mostly, he loved him without cause, but in sincerity.

Bro. James had genuine confidence in Bro. Paul, his pastor, and often spoke of this to Bro. Dale. He told Dale he surely believed that Bro. Branham was God's prophet and that the teachings at the Word of the Day were correct. He said he loved God with all his heart...if only he could hear from Him and know he still had a chance.

Then, the wonderful God he loved brought him the assurance he sought. Bro. Paul preached and told how that God had finished the whole of His work before the foundatuion of the world. He said that a person wasn't saved at any particular point in time, and he read where the prophet had said it. He told the Church that the Seed of God, having been in the mind of God from the beginning, could never be lost as Jesus had promised not to lose a one. He said Jesus's purchase of His Church, His Body, His Bride, was complete and was for past, present, and future sin. "Blessed is the man", he cried, "to whom God will not impute sin. God has brought you this far...if He has, and you have come this far in faith, He will take you all the way. Only Believe!".And James did.

There is an update to this story. Our Bro. James Dillion passed from this dimension on December 24, 2004. Bro. Dale's "Token" love for his brother sustained him in his last hours.

Sister Velma Hawkins

Sister Velma closed the door of her Georgia home for the last time. But she lingered a moment looking all around. It was so beautiful here. How she had loved this place. But, in her heart she felt she was obeying the will of God for her life. Sighing, she walked away. She was going to live with her daughter in Lawton, Oklahoma. There she would share her life with her daughters family. There she would answer this call in her heart. "I wish it were pretty there, too." she thought.

But, it wasn't. As she stepped off the plane her one thought was, "Oh, how ugly it is here." But then her lovely daughter and her excellent son-in-law were there to meet her. Shannon held a yellow rose. They greeted her warmly and Sister Velma began her new life.

Searching around for a 'Message' church she heard about a little group in Oklahoma City, nearly a hundred miles away. It was a long drive but she was a Believer and no other church would do. However, Bro. Evangelista was lead to move to California. He had discovered that his name had directed his life, he was an evangelist, not a pastor. Sister Velma continued to make the trip and Bro. Dale Kliner sought to help hold the group together, as the Lord revealed Brother Paul O'Malley to be the new Pastor.

When Bro. Paul came to Oklahoma City, Sister Velma loved the way he preached in types and spoke of deeper things. Velma knew the words of Bro. Branham, she had listened to tapes for years, but somehow, under this ministry those words began to have new meaning. She suddenly found herself in conflict with her former understanding. And, she had no little trouble with some of the things Bro. Paul said. He seemed so hard, so crude. Sometimes he made her angry. More than once she told herself she wouldn't go back to hear this guy. But, always she would. Each week she would make the long drive. And, she discovered that the more she listened the more her heart began to open up to these things. Her understanding became enlightened as she continued to listen to the preaching. She found herself obtaining what she had heard the prophet speak of as a "clear understanding." Before long she realized that she would never want to be anywhere else. Sister Velma now knew why the Lord had directed her here. She believed with all her heart the Word of the Day.

Oklahoma was still ugly looking to her when she compared it to Georgia in her mind. But, her new vision of Christ, the Word, made everyday more beautiful. "Thank You, Lord, keep guiding my life." she prayed.

Bro. Steve Lutz

Bro. Steve was as fine a brother as I had ever known. He came to us from the prison ministry and I loved him immediately. He was a most sincere man, and a real Christian. But, some questioned that statement when I made it,because of a problem Bro. Steve had. Brother Steve was still smoking.

"How can you call that guy a Christian? He's a real fine fella, believes the Message, but, Paul, the guy smokes!" That was what I was hearing.

"He says he is looking to God for deliverance." I said. I knew what that devil was like, and some of Bro. Steve's critics had never even experienced what he was going through.

"Well, he don't look like it, to me." I was told.

Bro. Steve was staying with me at my home in the country. And, he was still smoking. He would wait as long as he could, then he would go outside and smoke. He was careful to clean up his waste...he was embaressed and ashamed, and kept my yard free of evidence, but he was, indeed, struggling. I watched him. He would play tapes and pray and then he would go out for a smoke. Then more tapes, more prayer. He ran out of money and I bought him some cigarrettes.

"What are you doing?" said his critic...a preacher. "You are contributing to his sin."

"No, brother, I am offering him relief from his suffering. He will quit. You'll see."

"Look, if he really wanted to stop, he would."

"Brother (preacher)," I said. "You are looking at the natural and reasoning with your mind. We are looking at a Promise and working in the supernatural realm. That devil is working overtime on Bro. Steve 'cause he knows his time is short. Steve is feeding on the Word, and the Word is God. He will become what he eats...Scripture says so. Also says,"If ye abide in Me and my Word in you, ask what ye will and it will be done."

"Aw, Paul" said the preacher, "you're so spiritual minded you've lost your good sense. Your crazy!"

"I've heard that a many a time" I replied. "Love is the Message of this Day. Grace is God's doing. Works are the expression of faith and faith comes by hearing the Word. We'll see."

Then I had to go away. Bro. Steve was between jobs...he was working in construction then. I would be gone for several days, perhaps a week. I was going on a missionary trip. Bro. Steve would be stuck there at home and far from the store with no transportation. There was plenty to eat, but, no 'smokes'. Knowing he could not get out to get any, I bought him several packages of cigarettes before I left. (And, I heard from the critics.)

The services were glorious and our Lord was mighty in His Word. The trip was a marvelous success but it ran overtime. I worried that Bro. Steve would suffer...surely he was out of 'smokes' by now. I hurried home, fully intending to purchase more if necessary.

When I arrived I found Bro. Steve propped up in the living room listening to tapes. The house was in order as he had cleaned up after himself and maintained respect for my home. No 'butts' in the yard, either. I came in and said, "Sorry I am late. You alright."

"Sure! I heard a lot of tapes. I been having a great time."

"Brother Steve, I will take you to the store. I know you must be suffering, out of smokes, and all......."

Oh, I ain't out. Got plenty left. But, I ain't had one for days. I'm delivered. Ain't wanted one, don't want none now."

"Praise the Lord!" I cried out. "His promises are sure. Let's pray together and give Him thanks!" .

We did. And Bro. Steve has never smoked another one. That was over three years ago. The witness of Bro. Steve and the power of God in his life are known to all. Bro. Steve is a real Christian. Just as I said. Blessed be the name of the Lord! I love him.

Bro. Adelso Mahoney

Adelso "Timothy" Mahoney was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands. That was the start of his natural Book. That natural Book told how that he came to Tulsa, Oklahoma, (USA) as a young man where his good looks and smooth talking ways gave him an edge on the 'streets'. In that Book would be the record of how Mahoney became a 'Player' and a 'high roller' drug dealer. How that led to his arrest and conviction, his devastatingly stiff sentence to prison that allowed him no chance for parole for at least 20 years. A dark picture of bondage........his Book of life.

But that Book would never be read because it was soaked in blood, the record erased by that flood. Adelso Mahoney's name was on another Book, the Lamb's Book of Life. That record began at the foundation of the world and now with his conviction was about to be made known.

Mahoney listened as the preacher told how that there were names on an Eternal record Book, a spiritual Book. How that 2000 years ago Jesus Christ, the very God, went to Calvary to purchase those who were on that Book. He also learned that in the 20th century a prophet appeared upon the earth named William Branham who was sent to forerun the Second Coming of that same God, Jesus Christ. Then, incredibly, it became a reality to him that Jesus Christ had come, in the form of the Word, even before the start of his natural book to claim and unite with those on that Spirtual Book who were now living and recorded by name so long ago. Mahoney returned again and again to hear the preacher, who was called, simply, Bro. Paul, speak of wonderful Bible Truths made known by this prophet whom he often quoted. Before long Mahoney realized that his name was on that Book, that he was 'one of them' of which Bro. Paul spoke. One of those who had been redeemed. The words he heard set Adelso Mahoney free.

Bro. "Timothy" Mahoney, as he would thereafter be called, was baptised by Bro. Paul in Christian baptism on Easter Sunday. Others were baptised that same day and an elderly man was healed of paralysis in the same baptismal pool. Mahoney was still in a natural prison, but the spiritual bondage of sin, the prisonhouse of his old Book, his old nature, no longer held him captive. He had seen his name on that other Book. He had discovered his true nature which was 'quickened' by the coming of that Life, the Word.

And, shortly thereafter, the God Who had written the Book, also set him free of the prison and placed him back onto the 'streets'. But now Mahoney used his God-given ability of simple persuasion to convince others of the power in the words of Jesus Christ, "Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free." He joined Bro. Paul in a ministry to share this 'good news' with others held captive by the devil in the prisonhouse called the world ('kosmos' , in the Greek). Jesus Christ had pardoned Mahoney... a pardon signed in red ink...the blood of God. He was completely and forever free. The old Book of the old record was gone and the only place his memory was written was in the Lamb's Book of Life. The Truth of God's Word had set the captive free.

These are some of the stories, the wonderful testimonies, of the lives of the saints at the Word of the Day Tabernacle. Of course, all of the saints at WOTDT, each one, have a 'story'. Everyone of them have had their lives uplifted, enhanced, their spirits enlightended. Each of them and all of them rejoice in the knowledge that God provided a Perfect Message though His promised prophet, William Branham. And each and all of them rejoice also in the perfect understanding that comes by the preaching of the Word in power and demonstration by the ministries God placed in Oklahoma City and in other "sister" churches around the globe.

The individual stories of these saints may not all be told here, for time and space would not allow it. But, those 'stories' are written in the mind of the God Who called them, justified them, and directed the lives of these ones as they fulfilled the purpose of that Mighty Angel, Jesus Christ; Who knew them, loved them, and chose them before the world began. Only the great Eternal Day when the 'books' are opened and the names called in the wonderful roll call of all the Ages will the full story of every life be known. Oh! Then there will be shouting, and singing, and praises to the Lamb! There's never been a Day like This Day...............but what a Day That Shall Be! Hallelujah!
