The Angel of God and the Mystery of Iniquity
“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the MYSTERY OF GOD should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets....Rev. 10:7.
“Let no MAN deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a FALLING AWAY first, and that MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and EXALTETH HIMSELF ABOVE all that is called GOD, or that is worshipped; so that HE AS GOD SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE of God SHEWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that HE MIGHT BE REVEALED IN HIS TIME. FOR THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY DOTH ALREADY WORK: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. “And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they [are] a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them”.... EZEKIEL 2:5

Though the brass god of Babylon was a contemptible idol, is not the wafer god of Rome still more so? Though the priests of Bel were skillful deceivers, are they not surpassed in the art of deception by the priests of Rome? Do not these carry on their operations on a much larger scale than the former?
“But, as there is always a day of retribution for the great iniquities of this world, when all things will be revealed; and just as the cunning of the priests of Babylon could not save them, when God sent His prophet to take away the mask, behind which they deceived their people, so let the priests of Rome know that God will, sooner or later, SEND HIS PROPHET, WHO WILL TEAR OFF THE MASK, BEHIND WHICH THEY DECEIVE THE WORLD.”
This prophet was promised in Malachi 4:5,6; confirmed by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 17:11 and Revelation 10:7. These Scriptures, and many others were fulfilled in these last days in the ministry of William Marrion Branham.
“Here he is. He is the Antichrist. He started riding in the first church age. Now he rides on down, on down through every age. Now, watch...
“You say, “Way back even in the apostles time?” He was called Nicolaitia there. Then in the next church age, then he become a doctrine in the church. First he was just a saying, then he become a doctrine.

DANIEL 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

For in this age they don’t want the Word, Christ, but they want church. The first thing- they don’t ask if you’re a Christian. “They want something where they can live anyway they want to and still belong to the church and obtain their testimony. So, he FITS THE MENU just exactly. “...because they received not the love of the Truth , that they might be saved, and for this cause God SHALL SEND THEM A STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE; that they might be damned who believe not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)
Abraham Lincoln: “I do not pretend to be a prophet. But though not a prophet, I see a very dark cloud on the horizon. And that dark cloud is coming from Rome. It is filled with tears of blood. Luke 17:24 “For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.”
Revelation 10:1-3 “And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: AND WHEN HE HAD CRIED, SEVEN THUNDERS UTTERED THEIR VOICES.”
What did Lincoln see?
EXODUS 19:16 “And it came to pass on the THIRD DAY IN THE MORNING, that there were THUNDERS, and LIGHTNINGS and a thick CLOUD UPON THE MOUNT, and the VOICE of the TRUMPET exceeding loud;”...
God is light! (I John 1:5) He flashes like lightning. His Word is a light. (Psalm 119:105) When the Word of God flashes lightning out of the darkness, all things are revealed...even the fall of Satan. (Luke 10)
The Voice of God is thunder. “The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory THUNDERETH: the LORD [is] upon many waters. The voice of the LORD [is] powerful...full of majesty.” When God speaks it is a LOUD THUNDER, and LIGHTNING flashes across the earth.
“Hear attentively the NOISE OF HIS VOICE, and the SOUND [that] goeth out of his mouth. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his LIGHTNING unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice ROARETH: he THUNDERETH with the VOICE of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. GOD THUNDERETH MARVELOUSLY WITH HIS VOICE; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.” Job 37:2-5
REVELATION 16:17,18a,19b: “And the SEVENTH ANGEL poured out his vial into the air; and there came a GREAT VOICE out of the temple of heaven, FROM THE THRONE, saying, It is done. And there were VOICES (plural), and THUNDERS (7?), and LIGHTNINGS: AND THERE WAS A GREAT EARTHQUAKE...and great Babylon CAME INTO REMEMBERANCE BEFORE GOD, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.”
Lincoln, “though not a prophet” experienced what Saul did in I Samuel 10:11,12. “And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What [is] this [that] is come unto the son of Kish? [Is] Saul also among the prophets? And one of the same place answered and said, But who [is] their father? Therefore it became a proverb, [Is] Saul also among the prophets?”
“...the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8b
Lincoln accurately described the coming the Son of man, the sounding of the Voice of God in Seven Thunders, the devastation of the United States and the Millennium. He foretold the coming of the “evening light. (Zechariah 14:6-9) He saw lightning flashing across the earth, a light to reveal the secrets in darkness through the ages.
Revelation 10:7 “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
ANGEL: Greek; 32 aggelos from aggello “to bring tidings”. A MESSENGER; by implication, a PASTOR. “angel” a messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God.
Hebrew; 4397 mal'ak- from an unused root meaning “to despatch” as a deputy. A MESSENGER, specifically: of God, ie; an “angel” (also a PROPHET, a priest, or a TEACHER)

Revelation 1:20b, 2:1a,5 “The seven stars are the ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches...Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write...Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, (backsliding church) and repent, and do the FIRST WORKS; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will REMOVE THY CANDLESTICK OUT OF HIS PLACE,...”
The Church fell in the first age. “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work,” said the Apostle Paul. “For I know this,” he prophesied in Acts 20, {“that after my departing shall grevious wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them.”
Jesus warned: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)
What was this MYSTERY OF INIQUITY? II Thessalonians 2:1-12.
Verses 3 and 4 read: “Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and EXALTETH HIMSELF above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that HE AS GOD SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHEWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD.”
Ferraris’ ECCLESIASTICAL DICTIONARY (Catholic Church) Article, The Pope: “The Pope is of so great a dignity and so exhaulted that HE IS NOT A MERE MAN, BUT AS IT WERE GOD, and the VICAR OF GOD.

Now we know that the wounded head was the pagan Roman Empire, that great political world power. This head rose again as the "Roman Catholic spiritual empire". Now watch this carefully. What did political pagan Rome do that was the basis of her success? She, "divided and conquered." That was the seed of Rome--divide and conquer. Her iron teeth tore and devoured. Whom she tore and devoured could not rise again as when she destroyed Carthage and sowed her to salt. The same iron seed remained in her when she arose as the false church, and her policy has remained the same--divide and conquer. That is Nicolaitanism and God hates it.”
“Now it is a well known historical fact that when this error crept into the church, men began to vie for the office of bishop with the result that this position was being given to the more educated and materially-progressive and politically-minded men. Human knowledge and program began to take over Divine wisdom's place and the Holy Spirit no longer controlled. This was
indeed a tragic evil, for the bishops began to maintain that it no longer required a transparent Christian character to minister either the Word or the rites in the church for it was the elements and the ceremony that counted. This allowed evil men (seducers) to rend the flock.”
“With the man-made doctrine of the elevation of bishops to a place not accorded them in Scripture, the next step was the handing out of graded titles that built up into a religious hierarchy; for soon there were archbishops over bishops and cardinals over the archbishops and by the time of Boniface the third there was a pope over all, a Pontiff.”
II THESSALONIANS 2:6,8
“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be REVEALED IN HIS TIME... And then shall that WICKED BE REVEALED, whom the Lord shall consume with the SPIRIT OF HIS MOUTH, (prophet) and shall destroy with the BRIGHTNESS OF HIS COMING.”
ISAIAH said: “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light... (ISAIAH 60:2-3)
Chiniquy knew the day would come “when all things would be revealed”. He, too, along with Lincoln foresaw the coming judgement of the Whore. Both these godly men were moved by the Spirit of Christ...the Spirit of Prophecy...and promised a revelation of the deceiver of the world. Chiniquy said...which saying is worth repeating and is true...”let the priests of Rome know that God will, sooner or later, SEND HIS PROPHET, WHO WILL TEAR OFF THE MASK, BEHIND WHICH THEY DECEIVE THE WORLD." (caps are mine)
PERGAMEAN CHURCH AGE, pgs 200-201:
The Roman Catholic Church calls herself the Mother church. She calls herself the first or original church. That is absolutely correct. She was the original First Church of Rome that backslid and went into sin. She was the first that organized. In her was found the deeds and then the doctrine of Nicolaitanism. No one will deny that she is a mother. She is a mother and has produced daughters. Now a daughter comes out of a woman. A woman robed in scarlet is sitting on the seven hills of Rome. She is a harlot and has borne daughters. Those daughters are THE PROTESTANT CHURCHES that came out of her and then went right back into organization and Nicolaitanism. This Mother of the daughter-churches is called a whore. That is a woman who was untrue to her marriage vows. She was married to God and then went off fornicating with the devil and in her fornications she has brought forth daughters that are just like her. This mother and daughter combination is anti-Word, anti-Spirit and consequently anti-Christ. Yes, ANTICHRIST.
PROTESTANTS! Take heed: “Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use [this] proverb against thee, saying, As [is] the mother, [so is] HER DAUGHTERS.” (EZEKIEL 16:44)
Lets examine the Mother and see if she is what the Prophet says she is. BUT FIRST LET’S SEE WHAT IS MEANT BY “ONE THAT USETH PROVERBS.”
PROVERB: The American Heritage Dictionary, Second College Edition.
1. a short, pithy saying in frequent and widespread use that expresses a well-know truth or fact. 2. One that is recognized as a typical example.
Hebrew: mashal, “to liken” ie; to use figurative language (an allegory, adage, song, or such like)...to resemble, compare.
Greek: parabole, from paraballo “a similitude”...parable, A SYMBOL. (Luke 4:23)
The Great Whore, the Harlot Daughters, the Beast,...all are SYMBOLS. The Bible is a book of SYMBOLS.
Now let’s examine these SYMBOLS in order to discover, or rather, uncover...Reveal...THIS MYSTERY OF INIQUITY.
REVELATION 13:1-18
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,... And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the BEAST. And they worshipped the DRAGON which gave power unto the BEAST: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war
with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Here we see the Ecclesiastical Roman system represented by the Pope in the same power over the world as was exercised by the political secular power of Rome under Julius Ceaser, the Pontificus Maximus.
THE TWO BABYLONS...Alexander Hislop
“It turns out, when the records of history are searched to the bottom, that when the head of the Pagan idolatry of Rome was slain with the sword by the extinction of the office of Pontifex Maximus, the last Roman Pontifex Maximus was the ACTUAL, LEGITIMATE, SOLE REPRESENTATIVE OF NIMROD and his idolatrous system.....The true legitimate Babylonian Pontiff had his seat beyond the bounds of the Roman Empire. That seat, after the death of Belshazzar, and the expulsion of the Chaldean priesthood from Babylon by the Medo-Persian kings, (see Daniel 2) was at PERGAMOS, WHERE AFTERWARDS WAS ONE OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES OF ASIA. “The original powers even of the Roman Pontiffs seem to have been by that time abridged, but when Julius Ceaser, who had previously been elected Pontifex Maximus, became also, as Emperor, the supreme civil ruler of the Romans, then, as head of the Roman State, and head of the ROMAN RELIGION, all the powers and functions of the TRUE LEGITIMATE BABYLONIAN PONTIFF were supremely vested in him...on certain occasions, in the exercise of his high pontifical office, he appeared of course in all the pomp of the Babylonian costume, as Belshazzar himself might have done, wearing the MITRE of Dagon...robes of scarlet, with the crosier of Nimrod in his hand...and bearing the keys of Janus and Cybele. The Beast’s deadly wound was healed. He was, and is not, yet is. He was political power under Babylonian Idolatry of Nimrod, that ended, and he is now both ecclesiastical and political power under the same Babylonian worship disguised as Christianity. Satan is once more worshipped...as the BEAST OF ROME, THE POPE.
The Popes of Rome exercise both secular and religious power over the nations.
“The bishops, as heads of these clergy, had large temporal powers, long before the Pope gained his temporal crown. We have distinct evidence from both Guizot and Gibbon to this effect. After showing that before the fifth century, the clergy had not only become distinct from, but independent of the people, Guizot adds: “The Christian clergy had moreover another and very different source of influence. The bishops and priests became the principal magistrates...” Hislop,...p260-261
ROME IN THE NINETEENTH CENTURY: “the altars perverted into protection towards the very crimes they were raised to banish from the world.”
The Greek word oanomod used in 2 Thess. 2:8 translates “The Lawless One”. And the Papacy, from its beginning has proved to be just such a person.
“THE SPIRITUAL POWER WHICH THEY WIELDED OVER THE SOULS OF MEN, AND THE SECULAR POWER WHICH THEY GAINED IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE WORLD, WERE BOTH ALIKE USED IN OPPOSITION TO THE CAUSE OF PURE RELIGION AND UNDEFILED.
At first these false prophets, in leading men astray, and seeking to unite Paganism and Christianity, wrought under-ground...secretly perverting the simple....But by and by, towards the end of the FOURTH CENTURY (365 A.D.) When the minds of men had been pretty well prepared, and the aspect seemed favorable for it, the wolves in sheep’s clothing appeared above ground, brought their secret doctrines and practices, by little and little, into the light of day, and CENTURY AFTER CENTURY, as their power increased, by means of all “decievableness of unrighteousness” and “signs and lying wonders,”deluded the minds of the WORDLY CHRISTIANS, made them believe....and caused the earth, and them that dwelt therein, to worship the beast whose deadly wound was healed.” Hislop’s TWO BABYLONS...p.262
Now if you want proof that the Catholic Church demands the lives and minds of men, just listen to the edict of Theodosius X.
THEODOSIUS FIRST EDICT: This edict was issued immediately after he was baptized by the First Church of Rome.
“We three emperors will that our subjects steadfastly adhere to the religion which was taught by St. Peter to the Romans (?), which has been faithfully taught by tradition and which is now professed by the pontiff, Damasus of Rome, and PETER, BISHOP OF ALEXANDRIA, a man of Apostolic holiness according to the institution of the Apostles, and the doctrine of the Gospel; let us believe in one Godhead of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, OF EQUAL MAJESTY IN THE HOLY TRINITY. We order that the adherents of this faith be called Catholic Christians; we BRAND ALL THE SENSELESS FOLLOWERS OF THE OTHER RELIGIONS WITH THE INFAMOUS NAME OF HERETICS, AND FORBID THEIR CONVENTICLES ASSUMING THE NAMES OF CHURCHES. Besides the condemnation of divine justice, they must expect the heavy penalty which our authority, guided by heavenly wisdom shall think proper to inflict...”
And 68,000,000 died between A.D. 354 and 1850 for disagreeing with the Pope of Rome, as declared in their own writings and exposed in such scholastic writings as SMUCKER’S GLORIOUS REFORMATION and FOXE’S BOOK OF THE MARTYRS.
From a lecture by Cardinal Manning: “I (the Pope) acknowledge no civil power; I am subject of no prince. I am more than this. I claim to be the supreme judge and director of the conscience of men: of the peasant who tills the field, and of the prince who sits upon the throne; of the household that lives in the shade of privacy, and the LEGISLATOR WHO MAKES LAWS FOR THE KINGDOM. I am the SOLE, LAST, SUPREME JUDGE of what is right or wrong.” (Written over 100 years ago...and still in force today.)
The Bishop of Chicago, Vandevilt (in the 1800’s) is quoted in a letter as saying, “The Protestants, always divided among themselves, will never form any strong party WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE UNITED VOTE OF OUR CATHOLIC PEOPLE; and that party alone, which will ask and get our HELP BY YIELDED TO OUR JUST DEMANDS, WILL RULE THE COUNTRY, (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA)...
“Then, yes! Then, we will rule the UNITED STATES, and lay them at the feet of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, that he may put an end to their godless system of education, and impious laws of liberty of conscience which are an insult to God and man!”
“...the Catholic priests, with the most admirable ability and success, have gathered their Irish legions into the great cities of the United States (Boston, Washington, New York, etc.), and the American people must be very blind indeed, if they do not see that if they do nothing to prevent it, the day is very near when the Jesuits will rule their country, from the magnificent White House at Washington.”...Chiniquy in “50 Years, etc.”
Note: ONE HUNDRED YEARS LATER (1860-1960) an Irish Roman Catholic from Boston, named John F. Kennedy fulfilled this promise of the Roman priests.
“Now look what happened now. President Franklin D. Roosevelt took America to England’s tea party. That’s right. Germany never picked on us; we picked on them. Throwed the whole world into a war; to cause a world war...Women, given the right to vote, elected President-elect Kennedy, the woman’s vote. The wrong man, which will finally be to full control of the Catholic Church in the United States; then the bomb comes to explode her.
“There’s seven things predicted, and five of them have already happened. So, you can judge yourself how far away we are. We’re near the end. If those five things happened, these other two things are bound to happen. It’s just got to happen.
“I do not think that Mr. Kennedy will have much affect now, because HE’LL MAKE A WONDERFUL PRESIDENT IN ORDER TO BRING IN THE OTHERS to get a scene set just like they have in England, like they did in Mexico, like they did everywhere else like that. And the American people, so unstable, not spiritually; they’re smart, but too smart for their own good. Intelligence swings backward sometimes and backfires. So they...So we find we’re right on the verge...” HYBRID RELIGION, 1960...Bro. Branham; Speaking on the seven visions of 1933...one of which showed the United States as “one smothering burnt-over place.”
“Now, you all keep this wrote down. There’ll be a great powerful woman raise up, either be President, or dictator, or some powerful woman in this United States. (Probably, the Catholic Church, he said.) And she’ll sink under the influence of women. Now, you remember, that’s THUS SAITH THE LORD!” THE GREAT HARLOT, 1958 Bro. Branham
Chiniquy said, “When one knows the absolute, abject submission of the Irish Roman Catholics, rich or poor, to their priests, how the mind, the soul, the will, the conscience, are firmly and irrevocably tied to the feet of the priests, he can easily understand that the Jesuits of the UNITED STATES form one of the richest and most powerful corporations the world ever saw.
“No one, if he be not a Roman Catholic, or one of those so-called Protestants who give their daughters to the nuns, and their sons to the Jesuits to be educated, has much hopes, where the Jesuits rule, of having a lucrative office in the United States today. (100 years ago)
“THE AMERICANS, WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS, DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE DARK CLOUD WHICH IS RISING AT THEIR HORIZON, FROM ROME.”
Lincoln said the same thing... “Many of those who approached Abraham Lincoln felt that there was a PROPHETIC SPIRIT in him, and that he was continually walking and acting with the thought of God in his mind, and only in view to do His Will and work for His glory.”

As Lincoln often said, “Whatever shall appear to be God’s Will, I will do.”...SIX MONTHS IN THE WHITE HOUSE, by Carpenter...p.86. The closing words of his inaugural address of March 4, 1865 (only 41 days before his death...which he also foresaw as evidenced by history and his own statements) were; “The judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.” (Ps. 19:9)
Now hear some further statements from a man who, as he said was “not a prophet” but who, nevertheless foretold the future:
“Even the Protestant ministers are under the influence of the Jesuits without suspecting it. To keep her ascendancy in the North, as she does in the South, “(Louisiana, to this day has “parishes” instead of counties)” Rome is doing here what she has done in Mexico, and in all the South American Republics; she is paralyzing, by CIVIL WAR, the arms of the soldiers of Liberty. She divides our nation, in order to weaken, subdue and rule it.”
“The very moment that Popery assumed the right of life and death on a citizen of France, Spain, Germany, England, or the United States, it assumed to be the power, the government of France, Spain, England, Germany, or the United States. Those States then committed a suicidal act by allowing Popery to put a foot on their territory with the privilege of citizenship. The power of life and death is the supreme power and two supreme powers cannot exist on the same territory without anarchy, riots, bloodshed, and civil wars without end. When Popery will give up the power of life and death which it proclaims on its own divine power, IN ALL ITS THEOLOGICAL BOOKS AND CANON LAWS, then, and only then, it can be tolerated and can receive the privileges of citizenship in a free country.”
AND ROME HAS NEVER RESCINDED THIS CLAIM!
“Is it not absurdity to give to a man a thing which he is sworn to hate, curse, and destroy? And does not the Church of Rome hate, curse, and destroy liberty of conscience whenever she can safely do so? I am for liberty of conscience in its noblest, broadest, highest sense. But I cannot give liberty of conscience to the Pope and to his followers, the Papists, so long as they tell me, THROUGH ALL THEIR COUNCILS, THEOLOGIANS, AND CANON LAWS, THAT their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children, and cut my throat when they find their opportunity! THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE UNDERSTOOD BY THE PEOPLE TODAY! BUT SOONER OR LATER. THE LIGHT...WILL MAKE IT CLEAR TO EVERYONE...” (ABRAHAM LINCOLN)
But, will everyone walk in the light? Will they heed the warning? Not according to the Scripture. Most will be deceived by the BEAST... and HIS IMAGE!
The beast that rose out of sea came forth out the multitude of nations, tongues, and people. The beast who came forth out of the land WAS AMERICA. Founded by men and women who were in flight from the persecutions of the “SEA BEAST”, Dagon disguised in the Pope, but who carried with them the seeds of the Antichrist hidden in their creeds.
The Great Whore: A city on seven hills that rules the nations. Wealthy, powerful, beautiful, enticing, and drunk on the blood of the saints.
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her...And here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth...The waters which thou sawest, where the WHORE sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues...And the woman which thou sawest is THAT GREAT CITY, WHICH REIGNETH OVER THE KINGS OF THE EARTH.” REVELATION 17
No enlightened Protestant should have difficulty in identifying this “woman” as the Catholic Church who from her THRONE in the Vatican City rules over the world.
“No other city in the world has ever been celebrated, as the city of Rome has, for its situation on seven hills”, records Hislop, in the TWO Babylons. “Pagan poets and orators, who had no thought of elucidating prophecy, have alike characterized it as the “seven hilled city.” Thus Virgil refers to it: “Rome has both become the most beautiful (city) in the world, and alone has surrounded for herself seven heights with a wall.”
“Silicet et rerum facta est pulcherrima Roma Septemqueuua sibi muro circumdedit arches.”
Properius adds another trait to complete the prophecy when he says, “The lofty city on seven hills, which governs the world.” Or, in Bible language, “reigneth over the kings of the earth.”
Rome was so famous for its seven hills, that the term alone identified the city. Hence Horace speaks of it saying, “The gods have set their affections on the seven hills.” And Martial refers to Rome as “The seven dominating mountains.” (Septem dominos montes)
The last acting Pagan Pontifex Maximus, Symmachus, introduced a friend by letter saying, “De septum montibus virum” - “a man from the seven mountains”. This term described a “Civem Romanum”, or Roman Citizen.
Babylon, the center of pagan idolatry, is now called Rome, and serves as the center for the modern Babylonian Mystery Religion.
“Long before the days of Romulus, a representative of the Babylonian Messiah, (Tammuz...Nimrod reborn) called by his name, fixed his temple as a god, and his palace as a king, on one of the very heights WHICH CAME TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE WALLS OF THAT VERY CITY which Remus and his brother were destined to found. On the Capitoline hill, so famed in the after-days as the great HIGH PLACE of Roman worship, Saturnia, or the “city of Saturn” (Nimrod) the great Chaldean god, had in the days of dim and distant antiqity been erected.” Hislop’s TWO BABYLONS
So we see the location of the Vatican City corresponds with the “seat of Satan”. And there is no more wealthy, lavish, and beautiful place on earth. And, here within the city of gold, precious stones and pearl, reigns the BEAST, robed in purple and scarlet, along with the Vestal Virgins, and the priests of Bel...all disguised as CHRISTIAN. Yet, gorged on the blood of 68,000,000 martyrs who withstood the powers of darkness emanating from her walls.
“The dragon of the Greeks,” says Pausanius, “was only a large snake;” and the context shows that this is the very case here; for what in the third verse is called a “dragon”, in the fourteenth* is simply described as a “serpent”. Then the word rendered “Red” properly means “Fiery”; so that the “Red Dragon” signifies the “Fiery Serpent” or the “serpent of fire.” Exactly so does it appear to have been in the first form of idolatry, that, under the patronage of Nimrod, appeared in the ancient world. The “Serpent of Fire” in the plains of Shinar seems to have been the great object of worship. There is strongest evidence that apostasy among the sons of Noah began in fire-worship, and that IN CONNECTION WITH THE SYMBOL OF THE SERPENT. “...the serpent was held to have been the great enlightener of the spiritual, by giving mankind the “knowledge of good and evil”...Hislop *(v9)
The Apostle Paul, in Romans said, “when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God...and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an IMAGE made like to corruptible man...beasts and CREEPING THINGS.”
Serpent worship was a major factor in the apostasy of Nimrod, and the Serpent a “chief” god of the Babylonian Mystery. Harmless snakes were kept as pets and worshipped as gods by the Romans...and in Egypt they were a sign of royal authority.
One of the titles or Nimrod was ALORUS, that is, “the god of fire” (possibly from Al-hor, “the burning god”...though most of the authorities say it is from Al-Aur, “fire god”.); who was known also as Molk-Gheber. Molk-Gheber means Mighty King, and the king, or “Molk” derived to Moloch in the Hebrew. It was this idolatrous “god” to whom the children of Israel were offered in sacrifice in their backslidings. (Jeremiah 19:5 and 32:35) This directly related to the Serpent god and when the “fruit of the body” was thus offered it was for the “sin of the soul”.

The priests of Baal were required to “eat of this fruit” since they were to “partake of the sins of the people”. This practice by the Cahna-Bal’s gave us the English word for those who eat human flesh, cannibal.
Who is this Great Dragon? Simple. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old SERPENT, called the DEVIL, and SATAN, which deceiveth the...world." Revelation 20:2...”And he laid hold on the DRAGON, that old SERPENT, which is the DEVIL, and SATAN,...”
It is this dragon which gives power to the beast. The sea-beast, Dagon of Rome, and the land-beast, the Roman Church in America, both of which are the same and have their power source in SATAN, that old SERPENT, the GREAT RED DRAGON.
MYSTERY! BABYLON THE GREAT!
The name of the system, the WHORE, is MYSTERY. (Rev. 17:5) This is a key to unlock MYSTERY. The name identifies the bearer. The name by which Nimrod was known as the god of the Chaldean “Mystery” was SATURN. Saturn and Mystery are both Chaldean words, and they are correlative terms. As Mystery signifies the “Hidden” system, so Saturn signifies the “Hidden god”.
In the litany the Mass is found the phrase, “God, HIDDEN, and my Savior, have mercy upon us.” And March 29th is the “feast of St. Satur” in the Catholic calends.
In Chaldean Saturn is pronounced SATUR, but it is spelled with only four (4) letters, STUR. This name contains, also, the number 666.

And the original name of Rome, again, was SATURNIA, “the city of Saturn”, or Satan. Thus the Pope has another claim to the NAME and NUMBER of the BEAST. Six Hundred Threescore and Six. (Rev. 13:18)
NOTE: Latienos, the Roman Church...or Roman Man of the Church, is the equivalent of the “Hidden One” or Saturn, the “god of MYSTERY.” (See the chart on page 15)
AND NOW WE ARRIVE AT THE MOST SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS SYMBOL OF ALL. THIS IS THE ONE WHICH CLAIM MILLIONS OF LIVES AND BRING THE WHOLE WORLD ONCE MORE UNDER THE FULL CONTROL OF THE ANITICHRIST...THE BEAST.
The most horrible and deceitful power of them all is found in a symbol known as THE IMAGE TO THE BEAST. Why is this one such a terror? Because he is the most SUBTLE of all. Satan reflecting himself in the very heights of his craftiness...the most subtle of all the beasts that the Lord God made. (Gen. 3:1)
WHO, OR WHAT IS THE IMAGE TO THE BEAST?
To find the answer, let’s take one more close look at the Beast himself.
THE BEAST is an organized power in religion. THE BEAST is the head of this religion. This religion is BABYLON which translates CONFUSION. It is a mixture of truth and error, Christ and Antichrist, light and dark.
(Not a true union, now, since light and dark won’t “mix”...for one dispels the other. But it is a combination of Christianity and Paganism.)
The beast is a counterfeit religion . A FRAUD. And he is a “she” a woman, a church. He is both THE BEAST and THE GREAT WHORE, MOTHER OF HARLOTS.
Revelation 17:5 “And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS...”
Revelation 13:15 “And he had power to give life unto the IMAGE OF THE BEAST...”
THE IMAGE OF A MOTHER IS HER DAUGHTER...Ezekiel 16:44 “As [is] the mother, [so is] her daughter.”
Mother means “life giver.” The Image of the Beast is the “offspring” of the Beast, who is the “life giver” and is also the “daughter” of the Whore. But notice, it says “harlots”, daughters, plural, daughters. Only if these daughters could be united into one, could they truly reflect the mother.
If the MOTHER is a CHURCH, an organized religious system, then she could only produce the same, another organized religious system. For the law of God in Genesis, the law of reproduction, is “every seed brings forth of its own kind.” (Gen. 1:11) If, therefore, the image is a reflection of one, these “many” must be united in one...to completely reflect the BEAST.
Every Protestant Church derived from the original Roman Church. The Reformation under Luther, the ANGEL TO THE CHURCH IN SARDIS, brought into being the term Protestant. This was a name given those who PROTESTED the Catholic Church and its doctrine and practices. How shocking it is then to find these same Protestants now denying their own NAME by joining in fellowship with the thing they once PROTESTED. Thus we hear Chiniquy crying out against the Church of England which had “when she left Rome, concealed in the folds of her mantle some of the false gods of Rome...”
Yet, this is exactly the case. An integral part of EVERY ORGANIZED CHURCH...EVERY DENOMINATION... is the false creeds and the ABOMINATIONS of the Roman Catholic WHORE. Out of the union of marriage to Babylon and the fornication with idols were born churches, women, CHILDREN, WHO ARE THREE-FOLD MORE THE CHILD(REN) OF HELL. Concealed in each of these daughters is the SEED OF ANTICHRIST. For they bear the traits and characteristics of their MOTHER, the WHORE, and their FATHER, the BEAST, SATAN. No wonder, in such CONFUSION it was necessary for GOD TO SEND HIS PROPHET, TO TEAR OFF THE MASK BEHIND WHICH THE WORLD IS DECEIVED. No wonder it was necessary that the Gentiles SEE A GREAT LIGHT. No wonder it required a FLASH OF LIGHTNING, FOLLOWED BY A FEARFUL PEAL OF THUNDER. IT HAD TO COME BY A PROPHET, “For surely the Lord God will do nothing, But He revealeth His SECRET unto His servants THE PROPHETS.
“...to the ANGEL OF THE CHURCH OF LAODICEANS write: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then BECAUSE THOU ART LUKEWARM, AND NEITHER COLD NOR HOT, I WILL SPUE THEE OUT OF MY MOUTH. BECAUSE THOU SAYEST, I AM RICH, AND INCREASED WITH GOODS, AND HAVE NEED OF NOTHING; AND KNOWEST NOT THAT THOU ART WRETCHED, AND MISERABLE, AND POOR, AND BLIND, AND NAKED: ...AS MANY AS I LOVE, I REBUKE AND CHASTEN: BE ZEALOUS THEREFORE, AND REPENT. BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR, AND KNOCK:”
This ANGEL, Prophet, is the Messenger to the seventh church.
MALACHI 4:5-6:
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” King James Version
“See, I will send you another prophet like Elijah* before the coming of the great and dreadful judgement day of God. And his preaching will bring fathers and children together again, to be of one mind and heart, for they will know that if they do not repent, I will come and utterly destroy their land.” LIVING BIBLE
This Prophet-messenger (angel) is referred to by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 17:11.
“Elias (Elijah) truly SHALL first come, and restore all things.” Notice, first that Jesus uses the “future tense” SHALL. This Elijah is not John the Baptist, who was already come and gone. “But I say unto you that Elias (John the Baptist...Malachi 3 and Matt. 11:7-11) is come already, and they knew him not, BUT HAVE DONE UNTO HIM WHATSOEVER THEY LISTED. And notice, too, that he was to RESTORE ALL THINGS. (Joel 2:25)
Rev. 10:7 “But in the days of the VOICE OF THE SEVENTH ANGEL, when he shall begin to sound, THE MYSTERY OF GOD SHOULD BE FINISHED, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”...one of whom was Malachi.
This ANGEL-PROPHET-MESSENGER was to reveal the MYSTERY OF GOD which was hidden under the SEVEN SEALS, and wrap-up all the loose ends unraveled by the Antichrist through the ages. He would RESTORE ALL THINGS. He was to come to cast light on the TRUTHS lost in the darkness of the past...hidden in the DARK AGES by the “Hidden One”, Satan, working in the Beast. He would bring to light the hidden things of darkness that the TRUE CHURCH could be again “of one heart and one accord.” He would take all the TRUTHS of the entire Bible and present them to the Church in the Seventh Age...just before the world would “burn as an oven” at the dreadful day of the judgement of our God. And he would correct all the error sown into the Church by the Antichrist. HE WOULD TEAR OFF THE MASK AND EXPOSE THE DECEIVER OF THE WHOLE WORLD. Jesus promised it “shall come”. And so it has.
“In Rev. 13:14, we learn that the beast spreads his influence through the image which was built for him. The image that is made is a WORLD-WIDE ECUMENICAL COUNCIL, wherein ALL THE ORGANIZED CHURCHES WILL GET TOGETHER WITH THE ROMAN CATHOLICS (they are doing it now.) It is quite possible this union will come in order to stop the power of communism. But since communism like Nebuchadnezzar has been raised up to burn the flesh of the harlot, Rome will be overcome and destroyed. Take note that everywhere the Romish Church went, Communism followed. It has to be that way. And let me warn you now, don’t go to thinking communism is your only enemy. No sir. It is the Catholic Church also, AND EVEN MORE SO.” THYATIREAN CHURCH AGE...Bro. So there, AS SOON AS SHE ORGANIZES THE THINGS SHE DOES, (both by the Scripture and by evidence) SHE DIES RIGHT THERE, SHE ACCEPTS THE DOGMA...
“God sent, in this 18th chapter, a mighty angel, after that mystery was known, a mighty angel, or, a messenger... “After these things, I saw another angel come down from Heaven, with great power, and the earth was LIGHTENED by his glory. And he cried with a loud VOICE, Babylon (confusion) the great is falling, and is become the habitation of devils, the hole of every foul spirit, and a cage of every clean and hate-...unclean and hateful bird. And all nations have drank of the wine of the wrath of her fornications. And the kings of the earth committed fornications with her, and the merchants of the earth has waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”
“Look, immediately after her mystery was made known, who she was, what she was, who her daughters was, the mystery has been made known, then God sent an angel, a messenger to (what?) call out. Come out! The Message of the hour, “Come out of her, My people, that you be not partakers of her plagues.” He’s going to curse her. Watch. Come out of her! God sent a...mighty angel, or a messenger. And his Light wasn’t in a corner, It scattered over the earth. Come out of her! What? Her, AND HER SISTERS, TOO. To lighten the earth, and to call His people out of her. Now, you know that’s the Truth. A messenger sent from Heaven, to CALL GOD’S PEOPLE OUT OF BABYLON. AND HIS LIGHT LIGHTED THE EARTH, GREAT HOLY SPIRIT.
“Notice, the Bible said, “she is a cage, and has caught hateful, unclean birds”.....this mother Babylon had caught herself a bunch of chickens, slick chicks, painted up, bobbed hair, call themselves, “Christians.” She got a cage full of them...A cage of hateful, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, would rather be like the world than to be like Christ... Got a whole cage full of them,...She’s got a cage full of them now, the WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES, or lodges....just all they know is some wisdom they can put this and do that in there. But when it comes to KNOWING HIM,... The Protestant churches begin the same, become her daughters, caused this by denying the Word of God...And when you accept something else instead of the Word, you deny it yourself. And when you join up in one of them, YOU’VE ALSO DENIED THE WORD. GOD DON’T WANT YOU THAT WAY, NO PLACE OF IT FOR THE SCRIPTURE. WHEN YOU JOIN UP WITH A SYSTEM...AND BECOME A CITIZEN OF THAT SYSTEM, YOU’RE SHOWING WHAT YOU ARE...And in this last days, God is calling the people out of it....THERE’S ONLY ONE CHURCH, THAT’S THE CHURCH OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.”

A mighty angel to expose and pronounce judgement on Babylon. God sent such an angel...just as He said. His coming was oft foretold; Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, Joel, Habakkuk, Zechariah, Malachi...Moses, Paul, Peter, John, Daniel, and others, including the Lord Jesus. Others recognized the need, some foresaw the events. Lincoln did. Chiniquy prophesied concerning him. Here is wisdom. Recognize your day and its Message, don’t miss the day of your visitation. “He that hath ears let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.”
DANIEL 12:1-10:
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered (Jew...Daniel was a Hebrew prophet), every one that shall be found written in the book (which brings in the Gentile Bride since there is only one such book). “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life (first resurrection), and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt (final resurrection). “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars (Rev. 1:20) for ever and ever. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, (Amos 8:12) and knowledge shall be increased... (v7) And I heard the man clothed in linen, (Rev. 19:8) which [was] upon the waters (plural) of the river (singular... I Cor. 12:11), when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he (Satan) shall have accomplished to SCATTER THE POWER OF THE HOLY PEOPLE, all these [things] shall be finished. And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]? “And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: FOR THE WORDS [ARE] CLOSED UP AND SEALED TILL THE TIME OF THE END. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; BUT THE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND.”
John on the isle of Patmos saw the same thing!
REVELATION 10:1-7
“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book OPEN (the sealed book was open in His hand FOR HE WAS THE ONLY ONE ABLE TO OPEN THE BOOK AND LOOK THEREIN...Rev. 5): and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth, And cried with a loud VOICE, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the SEVEN THUNDERS HAD UTTERED THEIR VOICES, I was about to write: and I heard a VOICE from HEAVEN saying unto me, SEAL UP THOSE THINGS WHICH THE SEVEN THUNDERS UTTERED, AND WRITE THEM NOT. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, ...earth...the sea...and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that THERE SHOULD BE TIME NO LONGER: BUT IN THE DAYS OF THE VOICE OF THE SEVENTH ANGEL, WHEN HE SHALL BEGIN TO SOUND, THE MYSTERY OF GOD SHOULD BE FINISHED, AS HE HATH DECLARED TO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.”
DANIEL plainly tells he saw two angels. And the one who spoke to him was clothed in linen to indicate that he was a Gentile Bride member, and he spake by gift indicated by the symbols of plural rivers of singular water. Two angels, one VOICE. JOHN heard one VOICE from heaven and another on the earth. Christ, the Mighty Angel united with an earthly angel, a prophet, to reveal the MYSTERY OF GOD.
“And so there'll be a unionize amongst the churches, and they'll unite themselves together, form up the head of the confederation of churches, which they've already got a big U.N. building and every denomination is in it. And you'll either have to belong to some of those denominations or be ousted. And that's the time where we have to show our colors and be sure that we know, not a guess work, but know THUS SAITH THE LORD where you're standing. The little church has always been in the minority; it's a little bitty group that--a little thread, like a--a red string that wipes through the Bible, but it's the church always. And we want to remember it.” THE PATMOS VISION 1960
“Now, you see why my voice is going to be stopped pretty soon, somebody's going to know. Yes. Why? Revelation 2:20, she called herself a prophetess. You just watch the wave of sin happen now. You watch core--go plumb to the core. You watch modernistic; watch ungodly things happen in the churches. "And, finally, there'll come a persecution," the Bible says so, THUS SAITH THE LORD. “...17th or 18th chapter along in there; you'll find what Jezebel did: how she took Ahab, and he couldn't say nothing about it because it was his wife. “Look how they done; look how they've weeded in. Just the things they done, look where they're at today. Look at Catholicism swallowing up, swallowing up, swallowing up; marrying into it, breaking this, just exactly what Daniel said they'd do: iron and clay wouldn't mix, but MINGLING THEIR SEED ONE WITH ANOTHER, breaking. Every Protestant girl marries a Catholic boy has to raise the children Catholic. All like that, MARRYING, INTERMINGLING, like that until it's come to a place till the whole United States is all wormed over.”

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: “...if they could hear what professor Morse has said to me of the plots made in the very city of Rome to destroy this very Republic, and if they could learn how the priests, the nuns, the monks, which daily land on our shores, under the pretext of preaching their religion, instructing the people in their schools, taking care of the sick in the hospitals, ARE NOTHING ELSE BUT THE EMISSARIES OF THE POPE...to undermine our institutions, alienate the hearts of our people from our Constitution, and our laws, DESTROY OUR SCHOOLS, and prepare a reign of anarchy here as they have done in Ireland, in Mexico, in Spain, and wherever there are any people who want to be free...”
Samuel Morse, inventor of the telegraph, served as a foreign ambassador to Lincoln, and found “CONSPIRACIES AGAINST THE LIBERTIES OF THE UNITED STATES” which he published in 1834. Ireneaus Prime, Morse’s biographer, says, “When Morse was in Italy, he became acquainted with several ecclesiastics of the Chruch of Rome, and he was led to believe, from what he learned from them, that a political conspiracy, under the cloak of a religious mission, was formed against the United States. When he came to Paris and enjoyed the confidence and friendship of Lafayette, he stated his convictions to the General, who fully concurred with him in the reality of such a conspiracy.”
“Nothing is plainer than that if the principles of the Church of Rome prevail here, our Constitution would necessarily fail. The two cannot exist together. They are in open and direct antagonism with the fundamental theory of our government and of the popular government everywhere.” Richard W. Thompson, Secretary of the Navy, in his book THE PAPACY AND THE CIVIL POWER.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: “But there is a thing that is very certain, it is, that if the American people could learn what I know of the fierce hatred of the generality of the priests of Rome against our institutions, OUR SCHOOLS, our most sacred rights, and our so dearly bought liberties, they would drive them away, tomorrow, from among us...The history of the last thousand years tells us that wherever the Church of Rome is not a dagger to pierce the bosom of a free nation, she is a stone to her neck, and a ball to her feet, to paralyze her, and prevent her advance...”
Why did not Lincoln speak out and insist on a halt to this danger? Lincoln, like Saul, was a politician, not a prophet. Saul failed to abolish idolatry and so did Lincoln. And both lost their lives to it.
NOTE: There is overwhelming evidence, undeniable historical proof, that Abraham Lincoln was murdered in a plot hatched in Rome, by assassins trained, financed, and armed by the Jesuits. The writer would like to take the time here to pursue these facts, but it would not be in harmony with the main purpose of this paper. I would recommend that the reader interested in research begin with Chiniquy’s book 50 YEARS IN THE CHURCH OF ROME, presently published by Chick Publishers of California.
All this information...a matter of public record; why have we come to such a place? Because it was prophesied we would in the Word. It was THUS SAITH THE LORD!
Only the VOICE of GOD speaking out of the mouth of the Seventh Angel-Messenger-Prophet could ROAR loud enough to be heard. But the VOICE will be altogether ignored by all but the elect. That is the reason for this paper...to reach the elect of God with the “good news” that “all things are revealed”. Listen, dear friend, and “COME OUT!”
When God spoke to Moses at Horeb, He promised in the future to speak always through a prophet. (Deuteronomy 18:15-22) In Amos He declared that He would not do anything unless He first revealed it unto His prophets; just as He did to Abraham in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. In Exodus 19:15 (which is quoted on pg. 4) the THUNDERS, LIGHTNINGS, THE CLOUD, AND THE VOICE OF A TRUMPET, all were heard in the same day. The third day in the morning...after two days, in the third day they came. Hosea 6:2 says, “After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.” God restored Truth in the former two ages and now in this last age He has promised to “catch us away.” Only those who have been restored to Truth to know the MYSTERY OF GOD....HIS SECRET, will make that trip. For “the SECRET of the Lord is with them that fear Him; and He will shew them His Covenant.” (Ps. 25:14) And He has ordered it so since “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but THOSE THINGS THAT ARE REVEALED BELONG UNTO US and to our children for ever, THAT WE MAY DO ALL THE WORDS OF THE LAW.”...The WORD!
Just as the Babylonian Mysteries of the Chaldeans developed gradually in stages, so has the Mystery Babylon of these last days developed through the Church ages.
“The idolatrous system of the ancient Babylon assumed different phases in different periods of its history. In the prophetic description of the modern Babylon, there is evidently also a development of different powers at different times. Do these two developments bear any typical relation to each other? Yes, they do. When we bring the religious history of the ancient Babylonian Paganism to bear on the prophetic symbols that shadow forth the organized working of idolatry in Rome, it will be found that it casts as much light on this view of the subject as on that which has hitherto engaged our attention. The powers of iniquity at work in the modern Babylon are specifically described in chapters xii. and xiii. of the Revelation; and they are as follows:--I. The Great Red Dragon; II. The Beast that comes up out of the sea; III. The Beast that ascendeth out of the earth; and IV. The Image of the Beast. * In all these respects it will be found, on inquiry, that, in regard to succession and order of development, the Paganism of the Old Testament Babylon was the exact type of the Paganism of the New.”

And there he become four, or actually the THREE IN ONE, and it was all mixed up in THAT ONE THING.”
“Notice the off-mark of four of the spiritual mathematics. God is threes. This is four. He's in four here. First, Antichrist, white; second, false prophet, red; third, vicar of heavens and earth and--and purgatory, black; fourth, the beast, pale horse, Satan being kicked out of heaven. You want to read that? Revelations 12:13, Satan being kicked out of heaven...
Then in Revelations 13:1-8, he is incarnate in the person of the beast. He's first the Antichrist, just--just a teaching called Nicolaitia; then he becomes from that to a false prophet. If he's an Antichrist, Antichrist is against. Anything that's against God's Word is against God, because the WORD is GOD.” (John 1:1,14)
“And then he come to crowing time, then he become the false prophet of his Anti-Christ teaching. Get it? Then he gets his sword because he unites his powers together; then he don’t have to ask nobody. He’s governor of state; he’s governor of heaven-receives a triple crown...He takes the place of God on earth.”
THE FOURTH SEAL
And the time is at hand! Remember that the Malachi 4 Message came just before the great and dreadful judgement day of God, when the world would burn like an oven and all would be consumed. The righteous would heed the warning to repent, and walk out on the ashes of the wicked in the Millennium as a result. Again, the time is at hand. Repent quickly and “COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, AND RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES.”
“Only he who now letteth (God) [will let], until He (Christ in the Body of His Church) be taken out of the way.” The Church, not the Whore or her harlot daughters, FOR THEY WON’T UNDERSTAND, BUT THEY THAT BE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND and will believe and be TAKEN OUT in the translation.
I Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself (Rev.10:1) shall descend from heaven with a shout (Message), with the VOICE of the archangel (“chief” angel-a PROPHET) ... to call forth the resurrection; and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
These words are a comfort to those who have heard the VOICE of GOD in the MESSAGE of the ANGEL-PROPHET and come out of the harlot system. But for some there will be no comfort. They will still be looking for the “Rapture” long after the True Bride Church has been “taken out of the way.”
“He said, “He has already come, and you didn’t know him”...That’s where I pattern the ressurection...or the Rapture. It’ll go and they’ll...I know it sounds strange, but maybe you’ll know a little more after tonight, if the Lord willing, just how it is going to be. IT WILL BE SO SECRET NOBODY WILL KNOW ABOUT IT HARDLY. THE WORLD WILL JUST THINK...JUST GO RIGHT ON LIKE IT ALWAYS DID, see. That’s the way it always does it.
FOURTH SEAL....pg 298
Revelation 16:15: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”
“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” MATTHEW 24:43-44
Son of man means “prophet.” EZEKIEL 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.” Throughout the book of Ezekiel, God refers to the prophet as Son of man. Jesus was a prophet...Luke 24:19; GOD OF THE PROPHETS IN A PROPHET! Therefore He was called Son of man. And He warned of a prophet to come at the end-time and the conditions of the age.
Luke 17:26-30 “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of SODOM it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.” THE MYSTERY OF GOD. The Son of Man Christ, in a Son of man, Prophet, REVEALED BEFORE THE PEOPLE just before the burning.
Lincoln warned that the APOSTASY would rise and increase till torn by a FLASH OF LIGHTNING followed by THUNDER. A cyclone such as the world has never seen (2 Peter 3:10-12) would engulf the United States and the World when the Whore was burned. Malachi promised the same. “But.” he said, “unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings...(a healing ministry); And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts. After which there will be long days of peace and prosperity in the Millennium. “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
“It's been spoken; it has to come to pass. It will come to pass. And little people, no one wants to die; no one wants to--to be lost. Let me tell you; whatever you do, I don't care how well you go to church and how loyal you are to church... That's fine; nothing against that; you should go to church. You do that; keep on going to church. But whatever it is, throw away your traditions and move right on up into Christ; 'cause it's going to sound one of these days, and you're going to be caught with the mark of the beast on you and not know what it is until it's too late.” RAPTURE Dec. 4, 1965

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON BEAST
Q. Brother Paul, I read the teaching on the Mystery of Iniquity and failed to find what the “mark of the beast” was. If the Beast is the Pope, what is the “mark”? Is this a stamp or a tattoo as I have been told? If so, how will this mark be forced on the people?
A. My dear brother, I am sorry that I failed to be more specific on this subject in the paper. I did, however , point out that the religious systems have brought with them the ABOMINATIONS of the WHORE or the BEAST as doctrines and creeds. The Ecumenical Council, known as the WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES is the IMAGE TO THE BEAST and this IMAGE will cause the people to give their allegiance to these ABOMINATIONS through joining in their creeds. THESE CREEDS ARE THE MARK OF THE BEAST.
Let’s search the Scriptures. In Ezekiel 9:3-6 we read;
“...And he called to the man clothed with linen, which [had] the writer's inkhorn by his side; And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a MARK UPON THE FOREHEADS of the men that sigh and that cry for all the ABOMINATIONS that be done in the midst thereof....(v6) Slay utterly old [and] young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom [is] the mark; and begin at my sanctuary...”
Here we see a similar figure. The people who restrained from the ABOMINATIONS were marked IN THEIR FOREHEADS. These are they who kept the Word of the Lord and stayed true to the commandments. But this was a SPIRITUAL MARK OF IDENTIFICATION and not a “tattoo”, even though ink was available. THE CARNAL MIND CANNOT PERCIEVE THE SPIRITUAL SYMBOLS OF GOD.
One man said that this was the “tattoo” placed on the Jews of the Holocaust. How very carnal. As far as I have ever read, the numbers tattooed on the victims of Hitler were NOT PLACED ON THEIR FOREHEADS.
God places a Seal on His people. Ephesians 1:13 “... in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that Holy Spirit of promise” ...And in Eph. 4:30, “...Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption.”
This SEAL is not a “tattoo” or a “rubber stamp” mark. It is a SPIRITUAL MARK. And it is received in the FOREHEAD...for it is the WORD OF GOD in the SPIRIT of the MIND OF MAN. (See our teaching on Body, Soul, and Spirit.)
I Corinthians 2:12-16 tells us: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS THAT ARE FREELY GIVEN US OF GOD. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; COMPARING SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH SPIRITUAL. But the NATURAL MAN RECEIVETH NOT THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD: FOR THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS TO HIM: (just as the natural understanding of spiritual things is foolishness to us) NEITHER CAN HE KNOW [THEM], (as we do according to verse 12) BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED. But WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.” Amen
Job tells us that sin, or more specifically, the sinner, is a MARK against God and that is HIS MARK. (Job 7:20 and 16:12)
Sin is UNBELIEF. (John 3:18...Romans 14:23)

TO DISBELIEVE GOD’S WORD MARKS MAN AS A SINNER IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.
Cain was told “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? But if thou doest not well (according to the revelation of faith in the Word of God) SIN LIETH AT THE DOOR.” The door to the heart is the mind.
Abel by faith (a revelation of God’s Word) offered a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. Abel knew that only a blood sacrifice of an innocent lamb would atone for sin. This he knew BY FAITH. (Heb. 11:4)
Psalms 37:37 tells us to “MARK the perfect man, and behold the upright.” And Paul warned to “MARK them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the DOCTRINE which ye have learned.” And again, he says, “MARK them which walk so as ye have us for an example.”
Does this mean that those who are taken into fellowship with believers are tattooed so as to be able to identify them according to doctrine? Certainly not. This was a “mental note” as to who was following the Word.
The MARK OF CAIN was his bent toward intellect and science rather than faith toward God. (Refer to Question and Answer on Serpent Seed in the teaching on Original Sin.)
The doctrines of the Antichrist, the ABOMINABLE CREEDS of the Whore, the Beast, received into the thought life-Spirit of men of corrupt minds, and the works of unrighteousness and “right hand of fellowship” in the deeds of the Nicolaitans MARKS the organizational harlot in the sight of God.

Q. Is every Pope the Beast or is it only one in particular?
A. The figure is for each age and every Pope. But the final stage of the Antichrist will be when the Devil, Satan, himself is INCARNATED IN A MAN.
